Powering an Entire Business’ Backend with SaaS ?!

Filed under: general — toritaiyo @ 11:19 am

Hi,

I’m on a quest to power my business‘ entire backend using only Software as a Service (SaaS), teach others how to do the same, and in the process help revolutionise the way small businesses run.

This chronicle is a record of my journey to a fully SaaS-based business backend. Here you can see how I am implementing SaaS in my business and get an idea of what you can do too! Why not sign up for the monthly newsletter and not miss any important Saas-related goodness?

Organising SaaS-related information and conducting interviews

This website services two groups:
1) The small business looking to run on SaaS
2) The SaaS provider looking to engage small businesses

The main goal of this website is to facilitate an exchange between these two groups. And to do so I am focusing on organising saas-related information, conducting interviews with both groups, and also sharing my own story.

The enemy is limited time and the difficulty of organising information in a user-friendly manner. These are always the enemies. And I will likely always have to fight them.

On a happier note, I have already contacted and interviewed a few SaaS providers and am very excited about the responses and eager to post their interviews for all to see.

Stay tuned!

Brainstorming a logo for Backsaas

Filed under: general — toritaiyo @ 8:42 am

I am trying to decide whether or not to use a logo for BackSaaS. probably better not to. I want to keep things as simple as possible.

Here is an idea for a logo should I decide to use one.

I created it with the portable version of the FOSS (free open source software) graphics program ”GIMP” that I run from my USB stick. (part of my obsession with being completely mobile
